PageOneQ The organization has posted its States of Equality Scorecard, which rates and compares the fifty U.S. states and Washington D.C. on their respect for the rights of LGBT people in such areas as marriage, parenting, hate crimes protections, anti-discrimination measures in areas such as jobs and housing, and gender expression. eQualityGiving was founded in July of 2005 by Drs. Juan and Ken Ahonen-Jover, who also fully fund the site. Its goal is to bring together community leaders, political figures and philanthropists in a strategic forum to best put large scale funds and influence to use to quickly and effectively benefit the cause of LGBT equality. The scorecard, and more on eQualityGiving's Equality Goals, are available at this link.
Online philanthropic forum eQualityGiving invites you to see how your state is measuring up in the fight for equality for LGBT Americans.
