Daniel Healy of New Britain, Connecticut has accused the city public library as being anti-gay for refusing to accept a compact disc he attempted to donate. Healy says the library has given a bunch of excuses about why they didn't accept the CD. The "New Britain Herald" reports the CD, a musical tribute to Matthew Shepard, pictured, was about a man who was murdered and that sparked a nationwide movement to call attention to hate crimes against homosexuals. Library Director Candice Brown says the CD was not accepted because it only contains one song and that wouldn't be valuable or of any interest to patrons. Healy is thinking about asking the state's American Civil Liberties Union for help.
