Sources close to negotiations over the Employment Non-Discrimination Act currently before the US House, have confirmed with PageOneQ that the bill's rule vote, a procedure in the Rules Committee necessary for a floor vote, will take place Thursday.
Rumors continue to fly surrounding the Baldwin Amendment, which would add 'gender identity' back into the bill. 'Gender identity' was removed by Congressman Barney Frank, the bill's sponsor, when he felt it would be impossible to gain enough support for passage.
