P-FLAG receives $25,000 gift to expand scholarship program

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays announced today an anonymous gift of $25,000 to expand the organization's new college scholarship program.
The new support will fund scholarships in the area of science, engineering, business or finance. The gift will fund 13 new scholaships of $2,000 each. The additional $22,000 is will be used to administer the program.
This is the third year that the scholarship fund has operated.
