Washington -- Mike Rogers, editor and publisher of PageOneQ and BlogActive.com, will make an announcement today about the hypocrisy of a top aide to a prominent anti-gay Oklahoma politician.
Rogers, the president of Proud of Who We Are, will make the announcement Friday, Oct. 20, at 4:40 p.m. Central time (5:40 EST) on the nationally syndicated Ed Schultz Show.
The Ed Schultz Show is broadcast on stations across the country, including KUSH Radio 1600 AM out of Cushing (on one hour delay). The show can also be heard live in streaming audio at Big Ed Radio.
Rogers has been a leading voice in the fallout of the Mark Foley scandal. Earlier this week, he reported that Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) has not been honest with Idaho’s “values voters” about his own conduct.
Rogers’ announcement set off a nationwide discussion about Craig and the hypocrisy of gay politicians who vote against the gay community. For nearly two days, “Larry Craig” was the top search term on weblogs.
Over the last two weeks, Rogers has been featured on NPR's "All Things Considered," Fox News's "O'Reilly Factor," MSNBC's "Tucker," CNN Headline News's "Nancy Grace," the Ed Schultz Show, and a number of other national programs.
