Lev Raphael is the author of 17 books in many genres and the host of BookTalk, a weekly interview show on Lansing Public Radio. Lev will publish two new books in January 2006: Secret Anniversaries of the Heart (short stories) and Writing a Jewish Life (memoirs).

Amid the beautiful scenery of a town they have visited for the past two decades, noted author Lev Raphael and his partner Gersh Kaufman were married over Thanksgiving weekend.

Lev, author of the recently published "Writing a Jewish Life" -- and 16 other books -- and his partner, himself author of several books on the psychology of shame, were married in Stratford, Ontario.

Raphael wrote in a piece for PageOneQ, Why and How I'm Getting Married in Canada, published last year.
