Joe Solmonese, president of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest lesbian and gay rights organization, will travel to seven cities in as many days in a pre-Election Day push in battleground states.
By arrangement with the Human Rights Campaign, PageOneQ will post a daily photo album from the tour. Solmonese will visit Ft Lauderdale, FL; Columbus, OH; Madison, WI; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; Chicago, IL; Philadelphia, PA; Cleveland, OH; and St. Louis, MO.
"The Human Rights Campaign has put together an election day operation focused on every corner of the country where we can help elect pro-equality, fair minded leaders from the state house to Congress,” Solmonese said in a statement released by HRC at the start of the tour. “During these last days of the election, I promise to spend every waking moment trying to get those candidates who believe in equality for all Americans elected to office come November 7th. I hope that all members of our community and every one of our supporters will take some time between now and Tuesday," he added.
Today's album features pictures from Joe's stop in Florida.
