The political action arm of Focus on the Family will be holding a rally in the state capital of Minnesota on October 3rd to, in the group's words "motivate and inform voters about the importance of voting their values in November," PageOneQ has learned.
Other groups will join the event. In addition to James Dobson, head of Focus on the Family, the rally will be attended by Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council and Gary Bauer head of the Campaign for Working Families. Rev Ken Hutcherson of Washington State's Antioch Bible Church will be in attendance as well.
"It's clear that people of faith must continue to go to the polls and vote their values," Dobson said in a statement obtained by PageOneQ. "Our calling to be good citizens did not end in 2004 -– it requires us to be informed, diligent voters in each election," he added.
Focus on the Family Action is also planning rallies in Pittsburgh and Tennessee.
