Among those attacked in this weekend's outbreak of violence at the first ever Moscow Pride (RELATED STORY HERE) was an openly gay member of the German Parliament, Volker Beck.
Activist Peter Tatchell was also one of those who visited Moscow. Tatchell was joined from the UK by UKGayNews editor Andy Harley.
